Key Responsibilities :
Create and modify Crestron code and user interfaces using SIMPL, SIMPL+, SIMPL# and HTML5 or smart graphics.
End-to-end management of all Crestron equipment including Crestron code creation and modifications, system improvements, XIO cloud and Fusion management and firmware deployment / system verification
Biamp Audio DSP programming and modifications, Dante routing modifications to suit event requirements.
Lead a project to deploy and manage Dante Domain Manager for TMX office spaces and merge Dante traffic onto the corporate network
Help maintain broadcast equipment such as PTZ and traditional cameras, Ross switcher / router, Open Gear frame and cards, RTS intercom, Analog Way Aquillon, LED displays and processors
Troubleshoot, repair and document technical problems in a timely fashion
Provide third-level support of meeting room AV technology across all TMX Group offices.
Assist in the development and maintenance of SOPs or playbooks for daily tasks and functions as well as troubleshooting guides for common issues.
Provide initial and ongoing user training for the use of all AV equipment, developing best practices for various meeting requirements.
Become an SME for Omnivex Moxie and Carousel digital signage platforms, maintain Python scripts.
Implementation of new graphics for digital signage and media wall
Monitor the data collection and distribution system to ensure accurate values for financial information are displayed across the country.
This includes a morning check of all systems including Refinitiv data, Omnivex Moxie server and player software, AWS environment, IT network and event equipment programming
Assist the team with operation of event technology for all events, including daily market opens, all-employee meetings, business town halls, press conferences, streamed events, business development events, analyst days, AGMs and virtual AGMs.
Shoot video content and take photos as the need arises
Skills and Experience :
Must Have(s)
University or college education in an appropriate field such as Audio Visual, Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent experience
Ability to Create and modify Crestron code and user interfaces using SIMPL, SIMPL+, SIMPL# and HTML5 or smart graphics.
Experience supporting integrated AV systems in a corporate environment or comparable system of complexity
Crestron CTI-P101 required, CTI-P102 preferred
Dante Certification level 2 required, level 3 preferred
Experience deploying Dante Domain Manager preferred but not required
Experience building and modifying complex Biamp DSP programs
Experience tuning rooms and beamforming microphones
Network troubleshooting and switch port assignments
Strong crisis management skills during events or broadcast situations
High level of communication and interpersonal skills with a consultative and customer-focused approach
Thorough knowledge of A / V and broadcast equipment and infrastructure, event requirements, communications, telecommunication and computer networks
In-depth experience working with webcasts, streaming, web conferencing and web meeting tools (Webex, GoToMeeting, GoToWebinar, Zoom, webinar.net, RTMP streaming)
Strong team player, self-motivated, flexible and willing to work flex hours, evenings, weekends and travel when required.
Proven ability to be a valuable member of a diverse team of technicians
Strong time management, multitasking and organizational skills with outstanding attention to detail.
Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) designation would be an asset but not required
Omnivex or other digital signage software experience, an asset but not required
