Under the general supervision of the Supervisor, Central Stores, receives and verifies all shipments for Central Stores and Campus Stores, enters required information on the respective computer systems, generates price labels, arranges dispersals to the appropriate departments or destinations including regional campus deliveries, determines and prepares returns to suppliers, expedites order deliveries and return shipments, organizes and maintains the receiving and storage areas for Central Stores and Campus Stores by maintaining inventories and files, sorting and processing mail and initiating Requests to Purchase for required products and supplies.
Performs other related duties as required.
Education and Experience
Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent. Over 6 months and up to and including 1 year related stores / warehousing experience.
WHMIS training. Certification in Transportation of Dangerous Goods. Valid BC Class 5 driver’s license. Lift truck certification.
Must be able to operate a 1-ton Van.
