  • Analyzing current business processes, helping develop business / functional requirements, designing solutions and helping with delivery of the solutions.
  • Conducting technical workshops / training for clients to help analyze and define their business requirements and processes.
  • Conducting fit / gap analysis of Oracle’s packaged ERP solutions and adapting them to meet clients’ business requirements.
  • Designing and implementing new methods, procedures and systems (both automated and manual) to improve the processing and flow of information within the business.
  • Helping with management of projects from conception to launch and ensuring overall success. Be involved at varying levels throughout the project life cycle, from requirement gathering to solution implementations.
  • Participating in creating and maintaining a technical road map and strategy; collaborate with other leads, managers and technical team to ensure successful delivery of projects.
  • Being a self-starter with solid interpersonal skills, projecting a very positive customer-oriented attitude.
  • You work with the rest of the team to find innovative technical solutions for our business challenges and drive digitization of our business and IT processes.
  • You partner actively with business colleagues in Life and Health to understand business needs and overall business directions, and ensure that solutions are designed to meet business goals.
  • You proactively identify risks and opportunities for colleagues in the business and technology.

  • You connect yourself with our community of Munich Re architects in Business Solutions and Enterprise Architecture, and keep yourself updated about internal and external technology developments and trends.
  • As part of our DevOps mode (you build it, you own it, you run it), you ensure stable and smooth maintenance of the products within your responsibility.
  • Your profile

  • Degree in computer science or similar training or experience
  • Excellent knowledge of ERP systems and ERP implementation process.
  • Ability to work in a global team environment.
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle cloud Financials, and / or Oracle EBS or other tier 1 ERP systems.
  • A detailed understanding of the setup and architecture of Oracle Financials is a huge plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills mandatory.
  • Impeccable customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Participating in the improvement of business processes, including but not limited to, the following Oracle application-packaged modules Fusion, EBS, PeopleSoft, etc.
  • Experience in both on premise and cloud implementations is an asset, as is experience with migrations to Oracle Financials Cloud.
  • Track record of successful implementations that delivered value to the business, resulting in measurable business outcomes
  • Very strong analytical and communication skills, excellent team player

  • Creativity, desire for life-long learning, cost consciousness
  • Fluent spoken and written English as well as willingness to travel internationally 15-20%
