The Data Centre Manager will manage a Data Centre and Operations Team providing services to one or more OnX Managed Services clients.
Having a deep understanding of the data centre operation requirements including, security, service levels, and facility management.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
Manage a staff of approximately 8 resources providing : o7x24 data centre managementoData centre securityoEquipment installation and deinstallationoFirst level IT support functions
Focal point to OnX clients for Data Centre services
Ensure compliance with SLAs
Participate in monthly / quarterly reviewsREQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE :
Diploma in Computer Science from a recognized university / college institution or equivalent work experience
Minimum 5 years’ related data center management experience required
Operating Systems : Windows OS, Apple OS, Android OS
Experience with DCIM tools is considered an asset
Excellent communication skills demonstrated through customer service experience
Must be able available for planned and emergency oversight (days, evenings, nights, weekends and stat holidays) as the Data Centre is a 24 x 7 X 365 operation.

ITIL process methodology would be an asset
