Your knowledge and expertise in personal lines allows you to coach and mentor effectively, ensuring clients receive the best service possible.
Manage the day to day operations of the personal lines team
Provide technical training ensuring staff are adhering to corporate policies
Regular coaching / mentoring of employees to achieve personal and company goals
Assist in recruiting top talent and effectively on-board new hires
Provide a positive work environment that attracts, retains and motivates talent
Provide updates on markets, coverages and general industry information to employees
Facilitate staff meetings and training sessions to ensure continued development
Manage a small book of business, providing service to clients on new business, renewals and claims
Motivates a team to deliver high performance results
Proven results in developing others
Sets clear expectations and communicates these effectively
Provides appropriate feedback / coaching
Foster an environment that leads to high level of engagement
Strong communication skills, verbal & written
Resolves conflict swiftly and effectively
Ability to effectively multi-task between a variety of tasks, projects and deadlines
A self-starter and creative thinker
Level 2 License is a must, CAIB or CIP an asset
Strong experience with auto and personal lines insurance
At least 1-2 years’ experience as a supervisor / team leader in any industry
Proven results in developing and leading a team
Demonstrated track record of achieving goals
