Position Overview

WELL Health has a unique business model which includes a focus on global growth through M&Athat is expected to continue at a brisk and exciting pace for the foreseeable future.

This role will allow the candidate to be a part of a fast-paced team focused on exciting tech-drivenacquisition opportunities across healthcare and other ancillaryindustries.

The role will also require the candidate to support the Corporate Development team with administrative and project management dutiespertaining to active and prospective deal flow.

The team is looking for a self-starter capable of streamlining processes and automating various tasks. The Analyst will report directly to the VP of M&A.

Key Responsibilities Include :

  • Assisting with the project management of the confirmatory due diligence process ( CDD ) for signed LOI’s.
  • Assisting with the pre-LOI CDD for transactions under review.
  • Assisting with and presenting to the Leadership Groupthe business case for new acquisitions.
  • Tracking of targets and research into new acquisitions.
  • Assisting in due diligence of prospective targets.
  • Liaising with relevant business units and team members to gather information, proactively identify target acquisitions and assist in the deal generation process.
  • Ad-hoc tasksfor streamlining key processes using MS Office and other applications.
  • Financial modelling of prospective deals and current LOI pipeline.
  • Perform administrative and related duties as assigned and assist others in the department as required.
  • Requirements :

  • 1-3 years of experience in an investment bank, Big Four CPA firms, consulting, research or other relevant M&A-driven roles preferred.
  • CFA or CPA is considered an asset.
  • Strong internship experience is also considered an asset.
  • Industry experience is preferred but not required.
  • Strong financial acumen and knowledge / understanding of business valuation methodologies.
  • A high degree of proficiency with MS Office applications.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to work collaboratively on team projects.
