Position Purpose

To manage the food and beverage operations of Banquets, Olio Restaurant, and Room Service to assure superior guest service and product quality while maximizing revenues and efficient flow through of profits.

Essential Functions (included but not limited to) :

  • To provide training to new and existing associates.
  • To meet with conveners prior to functions to establish point of contact and to verify contracted services.
  • To ensure Sheraton Food and Beverage standards are met
  • To be active in food and beverage working alongside with the associates
  • To handle guest concerns, compliments and suggestions in a professional informed manner
  • To requisition beverages in accordance to Company guidelines.
  • To assist with analyzing food and beverage business trends to develop accurate forecasts, closure plans, recruitment plans, and strategies to maximize profits.
  • To make recommendations for improvements in service and / or products.
  • To complete payroll and gratuity distribution daily.
  • To monitor productivity, making necessary adjustments in order to operate within the budgeted guidelines.
  • Direct and assist in the development and implementation of promotional and sales events.
  • To participate in the semi-annual food & beverage wares inventory.
  • To assist with the monthly beverage inventory.
  • To conduct pre-shift meetings
  • Assist in conducting yearly staff reviews
  • To provide support to the Banquet department as needed.
  • All other job duties as assigned.
