Chief Executive Officer
Community Savings Credit Union (Surrey)
Is it time? Are you qualified and ready to inspire a highly committed organization in the Lower Mainland? With your senior strategic and operational credentials in financial services, isn’t it about time to take the most significant step in your career?
As Community Savings’ Chief Executive, you will continue to expand a credit union that has just had its best financial year ever and has earned notable membership loyalty.
Known as the union’s credit union’, Community Savings has 70 employees, six branches and assets exceeding $500 million. It was the first financial institution in Canada to earn recognition as a living wage employer.
Working with an experienced Board, you will bring an appreciation for labour values and how to leverage these as Community Savings continues to develop a well-
defined corporate strategy that includes performance metrics, financial goals and corporate culture priorities. Leveraging a unique identify and focus, you will drive continued growth and partnership with unions in deposit business, and with local residential developers in further solidifying Community Savings as a commercial lender to this niche sector.
Provide direction and support to the senior leadership team in finance, information systems, human resources, marketing and operations.
Be a clear and compelling communicator to your people, as well as your 12,000 commercial and individual members. Ensure that Community Savings Credit Union has appropriate policies, risk management programs and compliance practices in place.
As well as an advanced degree in commerce, finance or business administration, you have at least ten years of progressive financial services leadership.
You are also an enthusiastic leader in your community. At Community Savings Credit Union, you’ll have the chance to put your innovative, inspirational imprint on a tight knit organization for the benefit of all. Maybe it is your time.
