What is the opportunity?

As the Living Benefits Specialist, you will be responsible for effectively building relationships with Dominion Securities (DS) clients in DS locations within your assigned territory.

You will be responsible for Living Benefits, Life, Wealth and Travel insurance product sales, service and retention. You will provide a differentiated client experience, a Concierge Service , that our DS clients have come to expect and appreciate.

What will you do?

  • Effectively partner with DS Advisors to meet their client’s individual Living Benefits, Life, Wealth and Travel Insurance needs where it’s been deemed that Insurance is the home of best fit to support the client with a specialized focus on Living Benefits offerings
  • Enhance the overall RBC value proposition by offering referred clients technical expertise (including specialized Living Benefits training) and client focus to provide clients with the advice they need to understand their unique needs and make informed decisions
  • Provide a differentiated Concierge service offering to DS clients
  • Contribute to and be responsible / accountable for team sales success through achievement of individual sales goals and through effective partnering with other team members
  • Collaborate and partner with Group Benefits Advisors, Commercial Lines Advisors and Group Home & Auto Business Development Managers for business owners and High Net Worth Property & Casualty Advisors for Individual Affluent clients
  • This opportunity will support Ontario South West
  • University degree
  • A valid LLQP Life License Qualification Program
  • A minimum of 2 3 years experience offering Life & Living Benefits Products to clients
  • Previous experience servicing high net worth clients
  • Strong presentation skills and ability to impact and influence
  • A talent for listening, establishing trust with prospects, and dedicated to finding the right solutions for clients
  • A flair for building relationships and a strong work ethic
  • Nice-to-have

  • In addition to fluency in English, French language capabilities are an asset
