The Position
Working collaboratively with a team of savvy communications professionals, you will be responsible for increasing public awareness of, engagement with and support for Plan International Canada and its mission.
The successful candidate will be a member of the PR, Events and Influencer Engagement team, inspiring Canadians to take action in support of children’s rights and girls’ equality.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, PR & Communications, you will contribute to and lead media and public relations planning and execution and help drive positive coverage and engagement with our brand.
The role focuses on building and enhancing a positive image of our organization and supports communications for campaigns, corporate partnerships, youth engagement, thought leadership and advocacy efforts.
Strong project management, creativity and collaboration skills are critical factors to success. Given the dynamic nature of the team’s work, the successful candidate will pitch in to help all team members when needed and will work on a wide range of topics that drive engagement with our organization and mission.
