Main Responsibilities :

  • Responsible for the overall design of the application and mapping the business requirements to systems / technical requirements, including : providing vision, level of effort estimates, define a delivery approach and devise overall implementation solution plan.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers, Technical Architects and Development to deliver the complete solution for the customer.
  • Participate in all phases of full life-cycle development of the project including requirements analysis, software design, software implementation, testing, deployment, training and user guide preparation
  • Employ best practices, process improvements and a standardized IT methodology during the Requirements Analysis and Detail Design phases
  • Design & develop IT solution architecture (covering integrated process, applications, data, infrastructure, security & other technologies) to resolve business requirements
  • Responsible for technical planning, architectural development & modifications to specifications of all the application
  • Execute and lead the preparation of all required technical documents, reports, plans and outputs as required by our customers
  • Maintain the software application designs applicability and congruence to the business requirements
  • Assess the compatibility and integration of products / services proposed as standards in order to ensure an integrated architecture across interdependent technologies
  • Lead development of formalized solution methodologies, including maintaining a repository for the methodologies, TOC / templates, and solution deliverables
  • Participate in the identification and selection of resources needed as well as assigning individual responsibilities
  • Contribute to pre sales activities in support of new business and / or contract extensions.
  • Act as the liaison between our customer, business users and IT execution team. Support definition of use cases, scenarios etc.
  • Develops and implements policies, procedures and architectural principles to ensure that systems support the organization's business requirements and meet the needs of end users.
  • Review and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems and develop strategies for improving or further leveraging these systems.
  • Qualifications :

  • Must have University Degree in Computer Science, IT, Computer engineering, or equivalent.
  • 7 years of professional experience designing and management of business processes
  • 3 years of experience in architect services for proposed application platform and in the field of programming / customization of the systems based on the platform proposed
  • Ideal candidate will have at least (5) years of experience in ERP projects
  • For third party application software, availability of a certificate from the software manufacturer for software configuration.
  • Certified from platform supplier

  • ITIL or CMMI certifications will be an asset
  • Six Sigma certification will be an asset
  • Knowledge on ERP in Public sector will be an asset
  • Experience in applying Service-Oriented Architecture to solutions
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a high-pace and high-pressure environment with multiple priorities without the need for micromanagement
  • Strong analytical and project management skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements
  • Ability to travel internationally 50-75% of the time
  • Highly self-motivated and directed
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills in English and Spanish. Other languages considered an asset.
