    Responsibilities

    The Buyer will be responsible for purchasing, reviewing material requirements, maintaining component level planning details, inventory management and supplier management.

    We are currently seeking a new talent who will conduct analysis to drive improved profitability across all business lines and product lines and sales channels.

    This position will have a heavy focus on purchasing but will also provide ad-hoc analysis as priorities shift. This position will drive execution and consistency of our raw material, packaging and third-party products.

    The Buyer will develop new analytics and models to evaluate cost optimization opportunities as well as develop purchasing metrics and support supplier management.

    This position is highly dependent on cross-functional collaboration with multiple areas of the organization including : Sales, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Marketing and Finance.

    The Buyer will be quantitatively adept, analytical, and have a track record of converting raw data into actionable business insights.

  • Experience required :

    Minimum Qualifications

  • A degree in business or commerce will be an asset.
  • 1 3 years of purchasing experience; electronic component procurement may be an asset.
  • Previous experience with ERP / MRP or an Inventory / Material Management System is preferred.
  • SCMA or APICS courses will be an asset.
