To perform a professional and relaxed massage to all clients which includes a variety of specialty treatments.
To respond to all interactions in an efficient, courteous and professional manner to achieve maximum customer satisfaction and comfort.

JOB FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES :
Comply with Four Seasons’ Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct.
Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers, supervisors and managers.
Provide a service to all guests, with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, while keeping them informed of the treatment process;
the marketing of retail items and products; utilize the Spa Software program, which includes retrieving their appointments.
To practice and follow all sanitation and hygiene standards. To maintain a clean, tidy and professional treatment and dispensary;
Retrieving, preparing and monitoring linens; prepare the work area with necessary supplies; communicate with Lead Therapist on product needs;
set up and breakdown treatment area as well as turning on and off lights.
Abide by all the policies, procedures and protocols within the Spa Training Manual.
STANDARD DUTIES :
To ensure you read the Resort's Employee handbook and have an understanding of and adhere to the Resort’s rules and regulations and in particular, the policies and procedures relating to Fire, Hygiene, Health and Safety.
Complies with Four Seasons’ Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as set forth in the employee handbook
To undertake other duties and responsibilities which, while outside the normal routine, are within the overall scope of the position.
To report for duty punctually wearing the correct uniform / attire. To maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene and adhere to the hotel and department personal appearance standards.

To provide a friendly, courteous and professional service at all times.
To comply with local legislation as required.
To maintain good working relationships with your colleagues and all other departments through working by The Golden Rule.
To respond to any changes in the department as dictated by the needs of the industry, company or hotel.
To be flexible and extend job duties to carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities within the job capability as assigned, including redeployment to alternative departments / areas if required, to meet business demands and guest service needs.
To attend training and meetings as and when required.
To ensure a safe workplace by identifying hazards and taking corrective action.
Assist the Spa reception by escorting guests to the appropriate locker rooms and providing an orientation of the area and amenities when required
Assist in the selling of retail items.
Assist the Spa Attendants in retrieving / stocking / folding and generally tidying Locker Rooms and other guest areas.
Respond properly to any hotel emergency or safety situation.
Perform other tasks or projects as assigned by hotel management and staff.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS :
Education : High school education or equivalent experience and a Massage Diploma or Certification equivalent or comprable to that of a Canadian Massage institution.
At least 2 years’ experience in Massage Therapy in a luxury Hotel Spa or Destination Spa
Certification in Massage Therapy
Ability to fulfill Canadian Requirements for insurable Massage Practitioner
Skills and Abilities : Reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language.
ENVIRONMENT (Physical Job Requirements) :
This position requires a considerable amount of physical activity; should be able to
Lift / Push / Pull / Carry objects up to 50lbs
Ability to walk, bend, kneel and climb stairs throughout full shift
Work a full shift standing
Ability to work inside the spa area.
Ability to work with chemical / agents.
Ability to work varied hours / days, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Hearing / speech / vision / literacy ability to have one on one communication with guests and employees. and to perform job functions and duties as assigned.
Ability to function under pressure, set priorities and adjust to changing conditions.
