  • Ensure the smooth operation of assigned restaurant unit
  • Provide direction and delegate tasks to all restaurant associates
  • Maintain proper receiving / storage / preparation / holding and serving of food according to department standards
  • Monitor all cold / hot holding equipment and immediately report any temperature problems
  • Report electrical, mechanical, plumbing and facility problems immediately
  • Ensure all menu items and food supplies are available to maintain department and unit consistency
  • Maintain proper cleaning / sanitation practices for food / non-food contact surfaces
  • Assist Service Associates with daily operations in the front-of-house
  • Guarantee the highest standards of guest service and hospitality
  • Provide guest service, cash, food preparation and equipment training to all restaurant associates
  • May complete the location’s weekly tasks including inventory, associate scheduling, monitoring the Mystery Shopper program and maintaining / controlling the cash system as assigned
  • Keep staffing levels in line with the days business as instructed by the Area Supervisors
  • Provide training, development and ongoing performance feedback including appraisals and corrective action
  • Lift and move boxed product as needed
  • Liaise with Area Supervisors to operate efficiently and produce budgeted financial results
  • Create and execute motivational events for the team
  • Monitor time records to ensure compliance with ESA, approve hours, review cash variances and complete daily product ordering as needed
  • Communicate with the Supervisory team to maintain unit consistency
  • Complete administrative duties and paperwork as required
  • Assist in any other duties as assigned
