Consider a role as a contract Consumer Lending Customer Service Representative!The Consumer Lending Customer Service Representative will be responsible for providing a differentiated experience on a variety of incoming calls related to education financing for college-bound students and graduates looking to refinance their education debt, as well as personal loans for debt consolidation.
Our representatives are sales-oriented multi-taskers who can prioritize their daily workload while keeping a keen eye on developing new business.
This is a contract assignment that will run from mid-May through late-August and resides within a high-volume call center environment.
Key Responsibilities : - Handle 50-70 calls per day from prospects and customers around education financing and debt consolidation- Proactively assist customers with application statuses, technical application questions and electronic signatures- Promote and process over-the-phone applications- Serve as the key contact for the borrower throughout the application process- Ensure follow-up and follow-through with both Internal and external customers is occurring- Identify cross-sell opportunities to deepen customer relationships- Adequately assess customer needs through the established Sales framework to identify, advise and recommend solutions for our customers and prospects- Exercise confidence and conviction in our products in order to advise clients on financial resolutions to meet their needs- Become knowledgeable on all of the required disclosures and regulatory requirements that pertain to the products we offer- Meet and exceed established sales goalsSuccessful candidates will have : - High School or equivalent (GED) required- Ability to work independently and successfully in a team environment- Superior organization and time management skills- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in fast-paced environment- Effective written and verbal communication skills- Sales-focused with a desire to meet and exceed sales objectives / goals- Capable of delivering results within specified timeframes- Ability to learn and share new concepts quickly- Experience with Microsoft Office- Sales experience within financial services is preferred, but not required- Previous sales or call center experience is a plusHOW TO APPLYFor more information and a full job description, please visit Skills for Rhode Island’ s Future website at Applicants interested in this position will be screened by Skills for Rhode Island’ s Future and Citizens Bank will make the final hiring decisions.
