Through industry and technical trades knowledge and networks, the incumbent will provide full cycle talent acquisition, recruitment and selection support for our internal Liebherr clients located throughout Western Canada, primarily the Mining Division.
The Recruiter plays a key role in collaborating with the business to support the operational and strategic goals of the Company, by embracing the Liebherr Core Principles / Behaviours and delivering practical, value added recruitment and HR expertise.
Partners with the business to oversee and co-ordinate the ongoing recruitment process, for Western Canada, based on operational workforce planning including approvals, advertising, postings, screening, interviews, tracking and reporting
Continuously networks, maintains and builds networking channels, with a focus on Alberta, to ensure understanding of the market, specifically the Mining sector
Provides expertise regarding recruitment trends, sourcing, testing, market compensation etc.
Main point of contact for and co-ordination of job boards, agencies, job fairs, trade schools etc
Maintains an ongoing search cycle / future candidate pool for various roles and locations
SME on the Liebherr Success Factors global Applicant Tracking System
Works closely with the HR Team to develop tools, systems and processes that support the business, through in-depth knowledge of the internal clients’ operational needs
Regular travel to Liebherr branches located across Canada, primarily Alberta and BC
Locally supports Liebherr Canada HR Department initiatives including recruitment training, onboarding, Employer Branding, Apprenticeships and also recruitment for Eastern Canada vacancies as necessary
Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or a related field, or the equivalent experience
At least 5 years as a Talent Acquisition Specialist / Recruiter
Previous experience in heavy equipment / manufacturing / mining industry preferred
Demonstrated proficiency in full cycle recruitment working in-house in a corporate setting
English-French bilingualism, both verbal and written, a definite asset
Solid understanding of and demonstrated expertise with ATSs, reporting and data analysis
HR Generalist experience considered an asset
