We are looking a highly motivated and personableindividual to lead and expand our Bridges engineering and design business in Toronto .
As the Senior Bridge Development Lead , you will be responsible for pursuing, leading andcoordinating the design delivery on multiple assignments simultaneously,coordinating the design with other practices, and liaise with our nationalbridge leader and global engineering design resources.
Theincumbent should be willing to work in a team environment, mentor junior staff,interact with clients and approval agencies, and assist senior project managersin their deliverables.
Lead the preliminary and detail design of transportation projects of various sizes.
Project Manage transportation projects with significant bridge design components.
Lead sales and pursuit initiatives in the GTA related to bridge design and evaluation.
Support large transportation pursuits with a bridge component.
Bridge Discipline Lead for large highway and transit design build projects across Canada
Be responsible for overall work progress and technical performance on the projects.
Works closely with senior project managers to help deliver project deliverables.
Provide oversight and mentoring to junior staff and assist in team building
Be a key component of the project team through all phases of project planning, execution, and closeout, consistent with established project delivery processes to meet the scope, schedule, budget and other specified requirements stated in the contract.
Write detailed design reports, proposals, evaluations, and technical memos with minimal direction.
Assist senior staff with business development and client management activities.
Bachelor's degree in Civil / Environmental Engineering (or applicable discipline and / or equivalent experience).
Proven existing relationships within clients and industry in theToronto / Ontario market
LicensedP.Eng. in the Province of Ontario
Strong technical design and project management skills related to bridge design
15 to 20 Years of industry experience.

Experience with site inspections during construction an asset.
Experience with pre-design site review an asset.
