Position Overview

Product Manager develops new software product concepts, designs, and / or enhancements to existing product design that reflect market and user requirements.

Conducts research and experiments to develop a thorough understanding of customer needs, new technologies, market trends, and competitors.

The candidate will develop requirements, functional specifications, and mock-ups to clearly illustrate product ideas and concepts.

They will develop business plans for products and participate in all phases of the PDLC including analysis, design, testing and integration of products as well as launch.

What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?

  • Strategic delivery of ITSM roadmap
  • Drives the definition of business requirements and the prioritization of the product backlog and planning
  • Represent the needs of the customer by defining and prioritizing product requirements.
  • Work closely with engineering to act as the voice of the customer and provide feedback about requirements and functionality.
  • Drive our current product set to include higher value-added features for our customers.
  • Assists with requests and triaging of production support issues. Collaborate with diverse team involved answering, solving or resolving client issues.
  • Formulates features, user stories, and acceptance criteria. Collaborates with software developers to research existing business and system processes.
  • Leads and documents requirements definition sessions with business and technical stakeholders to better understand functional, data, user interface, and non-functional requirements.
  • Leads cross functional interlock's to define business value for next product increment
  • Works within practices and policies for writing, updating, and managing requirements to ensure repeatable processes and delivery of value.
  • What are the requirements needed for this position?

  • 2+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst / Product Owner
  • What critical skills are needed for you to consider someone for this position?

  • TSM Experience
  • Familiar with Agile Development
  • Ability to multi-task and react positively to frequent changes in priorities
  • Ability to communicate verbally in a succinct and clear manner to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Ability to build strong working relationships with client services, technology and product management teams
  • Familiarity with RemedyForce / ServiceNow, a plus
  • How much should I expect to travel?

  • Less than 10%
