POSITION SUMMARY :
The Director, Total Rewards provides overall strategic leadership in regards to PVH associate programs by governing all aspects of total rewards initiatives such as salary planning, bonuses, job architecture, group benefits, retirement plans, recognition and wellness programs and by leading work automation, analytics and HR systems deployment.
He / she must demonstrate influence and leadership, act as a strategic partner and expert advisor in leading, planning, developing, designing and implementing a range of programs and processes related to compensation, benefits, programs, payroll, policies and practices, human resources analytics and information systems that support the company’s strategic goals in Canada while working closely with the Global teams.
In accordance with the company’s strategic orientations, he / she develops and recommends total rewards strategies and priorities to attract and retain the right talent.
He / she must act as an agent of change when implementing innovative solutions and methods in a context of continuous evolution.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES / ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB :
STRATEGIC GOVERNANCE AND ASSOCIATE EXPERIENCE
Oversee the development of the PVH Canada Total Rewards offering.
Develop and consolidate Canadian expertise and act as a local expert for all programs.
Ensure alignment with global objectives and governance strategy.
Collaborate with Finance, Payroll, HR and leaders in the US.
Define and oversee governance related to compensation and benefits policies.
Lead market assessments, when required, and maintain relations outside PVH.
Lead the annual salary planning for Canada while working closely with global teams.
Develop policies, procedures and tools to ensure competitive programs.
Coach leaders to support managers through compensation decisions.
Monitor legislative changes and propose modifications.
Oversee cost, design and plan conception of the company’s medical and dental plans.
Responsible to improve associate’s experience by collaborating with industry experts.
Oversee the administration of various programs, such as group benefits and group RRSP
Manage various programs as required such as associate discount program, EAP and all activities related to it.
Work on M&As and other projects, as required.
SYSTEMS LEAD AND HR ANALYTICS
Oversee Workday, Service Now, etc. deployment and evolution for Canada.
Implement and drive key HR decision-making metrics.
Oversee data integrity in the various systems, including Workday.
Lead work automation and optimization.
Maintain high level of consistency with global data management practices.
Provide executive reporting on various programs utilization and metrics.
Ensure optimization of systems use and make available training materials.
Ensure appropriate roles and responsibilities in Workday for all stakeholders.
Automate executive reporting to fulfill business needs.
Partner with various teams such as IT and HR Systems.
HR BUSINESS PARTNER AND MORE
Responsible for the human resources budget for Canada
Update and maintain HR policies and procedures
Oversee all HR compliance efforts, i.e. Pay Equity; OLFQ; Accessibility Act; LOA process and application; Bill 90, etc.
Support and work closely with the SVP HR in implementing and administering any HR initiatives or projects.
Coach and develop teams to ensure progression and learning opportunities.
Collaborate with facilities and procurement for key decisions for Montreal location
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE :
Experience :
10+ years experiences in management consulting, HR analytics roles, compensation and benefits and / or equivalent combination
Minimum of 5 years experiences in leadership and / or senior consulting roles
Experience working for multinational organizations
Education :
Bachelor degree in Actuarial Science, Statistics, Economics, Business Administration, Human Resources Management or another field that uses quantitative analysis.
Equivalent combination of experience / education can also be considered.
Skills :
Expert knowledge of compensation & benefits principles and current industry best practices.
Extensive experience developing policies and programs related to compensation and benefits.
Expertise with human capital performance measurement and metrics.
Demonstrated analytical, problem solving, critical thinking and decision-making skills.
Innovative, strong project management and change management skills.
Demonstrated ability to build strong and trusting relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Energetic, resilient, capable of managing multiple priorities in fast-paced environment.
Ability to use good judgment and discretion with highly confidential and sensitive personnel information.
Strong ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization and influence stakeholders.
Various level of exposure to systems and technology.
Proven track-record of programs governance.
Bilingual French and English, written and spoken.
