Position : PHYSICAL THERAPIST â€ Full-time Permanent
Work Schedule : Day Shifts, Monday to Friday, 37.5 hrs / week
Locations : Coquitlam & Vancouver Clinics
Hourly Median Rate : $39.70 (compensation will depend on experience)
Programs and Services : WSBC Programs (OR2 and ASTD) and Health Services
The clinical duties in the OR 2 and ASTD programs include evidence-based assessment and rehabilitation services. The Physical Therapist will work in a multi-disciplinary team which includes Occupational Therapists, Physicians, Kinesiologists, Psychologists / Clinical Counsellors and Case Managers.
Health Services include one on one assessment and treatment care to private clients and referrals from other 3rd party insurance organizations.
Responsibilities and Duties
Clinical assessments, developing and providing treatment plans for clients
Providing ongoing evaluation of client progress
Administering and gathering information regarding outcomes
Participating in continuous improvement initiatives
Communicating to appropriate referral sources and stakeholders
Engaging in continuous learning and skills development
Participate in and adhere to CARF related requirements
Work in a multi-disciplinary clinical setting which includes Occupational Therapists, Physicians, Kinesiologists, Psychologists / Clinical Counselors and Case Managers
Other work as assigned
The successful candidate will have excellent clinical, interpersonal and organizational skills
Ability to multi-task and prioritize with a focus on customer service
An interest in concussion and active holistic rehabilitation
Energetic team player who is registered with the College of Physical Therapists of British Columbia, and at least 2 years of clinical experience.
Related experience in areas of vocational rehabilitation, musculo-skeletal, Active Rehab / Exercise Therapy, Pain Management or Mental Health would be an asset.
In clinic training / mentorship and continuing education funding is provided.
