The Practice Management team is dedicated to the training and development of Advisers, Leaders and Support teams in TD Wealth’s Advice Businesses.

We focus on developing the critical skills and providing thought leadership that will drive Adviser and Business growth to help the Business we serve grow market share.

We work in close partnership with the Portfolio Advice and Investment Research team and the Wealth Planning Support teams to provide end to end support to advisers on Practice Management and Investment Solutions.

As part of the Private Wealth Management Distribution Solutions & Wealth Practice Management team; we are focused on enabling our advisors to deliver Legendary Client Experiences through every stage of our Sales and Client Engagement model.

Reporting to the Head of High Net Worth (HNW) Practice Management Programs, this role is accountable to drive practice enhancement engagement and training with HNW Advisory teams (Private Investment Advice, Private Investment Counsel, Private Banking and Private Trust).

The incumbent will be a subject matter expert who will engage with Advisors and Leaders in a practice discovery and solution process and serve as a consultant who delivers coordinated training solutions that harness the full scope of the Practice Management (PM), Portfolio Advice & Investment Research (PAIR), Wealth Planning Support (WPS), Portfolio Management (PM) and Business Application Specialist (BAS) teams for the frontline businesses.

This individual will also be adept at implementing tactical Practice Management initiatives at the Leader and Advisor level.

The role will involve training delivery for large groups as well as deskside one-on-one advisory team engagement.Areas of key focus will involve equipping the local Leader and Advisor to grow through greater efficiency and an optimal approach to their practice.

They will also enhance the field’s ability to build their books through prospecting, consolidation strategies, building a consistently delivered brand, providing tangible value, team development and team efficiency.

The incumbent will help Advisors increase their value and differentiation by helping them to systematize their Client Experience and the execution of the Sales and Client Engagement Model.

Requirements

Proven track record in the delivery of HNW advice and solutions to clients. 10 plus years Sales Leadership, Coaching, Training and / or Advisory experience.

Excellent presentation skills and a history of one on one Advisor coaching. Forward looking thought leader, with problem solving skills, and an understanding of advisory practice optimization and the ability to develop pragmatic effective solutions.
