Herschel Supply is searching for a Community and Events Manager to create amazing experiences for our internal teams and our creative community.
You’ll lead the charge in building community through our retail stores, sponsorship programs, brand events and internal employee experiences.
You are a natural networker and love to connect with people, and are equally as comfortable event planning and making sure all the details are covered.
As the Community and Events Manager, you will lead a team of community builders (based in key cities) and ensure the Herschel brand is embedded in every experience we create.
Driving a deeper emotional connection through memorable events with our consumers is at the top of your priority list.
On a day-to-day basis, the Community and Events Manager will :
Community Building :
Develop and manage the overall community and events strategy connecting it to the overall marketing and corporate goals.
Provide guidance to international teams on event and community best practices
Lead community coordinator team to ensure high performance and team development
Develop relationships with individuals and organizations to fuel community growth with a focus on creative fields of expertise
Support go-to-market plans with community events that support brand themes and stories
Work with retail stores to drive traffic and innovative experiences at the store (or city) level
Ensure community content is shared through various brand communication channels
Build relationships with philanthropic partners that support the brand’s vision and values.
Develop budgets, project plans and drive execution for all major company events (Sales meetings, trade shows, etc).
Work with cross-functional teams to support employee events
Develop innovative brand experience events to support overall marketing goals
Support corporate impact programs through partnerships with organizations supporting creative education
Lead annual budget planning for all events throughout the organization
At least 5 years of experience in an event or community building position with a lifestyle brand or agency where you’ve built a high-performance team.
Bachelor's degree in Marketing or relevant field
Strong organizational, planning and presentation skills (written and verbal).
Experience in complex event ideation and production.
Experience in building passionate communities.
Able to prioritize, hit deadlines, stay on budget and make decisions under pressure.
High level of confidence and ability to network.
