YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervise a team of engineers and technicians;
Manage the team’s budget, as well as capital expenditure projects and the team’s calendar of activities;
Support the development of the various mechanical components and systems of our recreational vehicles in order to ensure the achievement of the various NVH requirements for regulation and / or according to the specifications;
Offer innovative NVH solutions that will meet the cost, performance and functionality of the vehicle while ensuring compliance with the standards of acoustics and vibration;
Work in close collaboration with product engineering, project teams including purchasing and suppliers, the motorization group and the Rotax group to establish project schedules.
Use and adapt as needed the various tools and procedures available to you to simulate, calculate, develop models, design, define the tests to be performed and validate.
Support the technicians and mechanics directors of the group in the realization of the various tests.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering with a specialization in NVH, or any other relevant discipline,
Masters and / or Doctorate in NVH (Noise, Vibration, Harshness) is an asset;
Your knowledge of NVH in vehicle electrification and sound quality are sought.
Minimum of seven (7) years experience in NVH and / or product engineering
Leadership, and proven track record in project management and managing different priorities.
Bilingualism essential, both spoken and written
Have a good understanding of NVH principles, mechanical, and their interrelationships.
A major asset for NVH knowledge in vehicle electrification
Good ease with NVH development and validation software (knowledge of LMS Teslab, SIMCENTER, GTPower, Matlab / Simulink / etc ... would be an asset)
Excellent ability to analyze and solve complex problems;
Knowledge of recreational vehicles and related technologies;
Leadership and a sense of initiative as well as a great capacity for influence.
