Reporting to the Senior Vice President, Patient Experience and Digital Transformation, you will serve as an Associate Vice-
President at Health Sciences North (HSN), Northern Ontario’s largest hospital belonging to the Council of Academic Hospitals of Ontario (CAHO).
Research Infosource ranks HSN among Canada’s Top 40 hospitals in terms of research spending. HSN’s excellence has been recognized by the American College of Surgeons’ National Surgical Quality Improvement Program, Cancer Care Ontario and on the Canadian Patient Experiences Survey for Inpatient Care.
We are Canada’s largest health information technology (IT) cluster, providing an IT platform to more than 20 hospitals and housing digital imaging for more than 70 hospitals.
You will lead a clinical portfolio of approximately 631 employees, provide leadership in the development and implementation of hospital-
wide activities and programs that promote a safe, patient-centered environment while contributing to continuous improvement and risk management initiatives.
You will act as a leader in the facilitation and implementation of HSN’s Strategic Plan to enable the ongoing sustainability of improvement in care processes and clinical best practices in patient care.

The applications of candidates holding at least a master’s degree in a related professional health field and at least 5 years’ of relevant experience working in a health care environment with experience leading and implementing initiatives in a program management context will be considered.
A Certified Health Executive (CHE) designation, experience in an academic health science centre and bilingualism (English and French) are assets.
