Job Brief :

Our professional downtown Calgary client is seeking two experienced Bilingual IT Technicians to support the hardware and software with their team of dedicated employees.

They are looking for 1 junior-entry level Technician as well as one Tier 1 / Tier 2 Support Technician

Qualifications :

  • Post-secondary education in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
  • Must be fully bilingual, able to communicate in French and English in both written and verbal form
  • 2-5 years’ experience in a similar role supporting hardware and software for a diverse team
  • Experience migrating environments to cloud-based would be ideal
  • Demonstrated skill in business and technical analysis
  • Flexible and able to manage competing and shifting priorities
  • Demonstrated customer service skills
  • Professional experience working independently would be an asset
  • Responsibilities :

  • IT / help desk support to 500+users in various locations
  • Set-up, configure, maintain and troubleshoot all hardware, mobile devices, networking equipment, internet, applications, and email
  • Troubleshoot technical issues over the phone as needed, such as devices, printers, applications, email and hardware
  • Fulfill service requests quickly and efficiently as possible, providing incidental training as required
  • Provide assistance for ongoing maintenance, support, backups and overall system health of local servers and network
  • Some on-call / after-hours support may be required
