The successful candidate will be responsible for researching, implementing and optimizing new techniques to push the limits of AMD’s GPUs and CPUs and creating technical demos to showcase the results.


  • Research and Develop new techniques that push the limits of AMD’s hardware
  • Work with art director and lead programmer to create high quality technical demos to showcase the techniques they are working on
  • Collaborate with a distributed team to create compelling demos

  • Demonstrated experience writing shader code (HLSL / GLSL / OpenCL)
  • Have a solid understanding of real time computer graphics, GPU architecture and strong 3D math skills
  • Experience writing C / C++ game code for Windows and knowledge of data structures, design patterns, language features and writing easy-
  • to-understand and maintain code.

  • Practical hands-on experience with any graphics API development tools and techniques
  • Strong GPU code optimization skills, particularly shader code optimizations.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills.
  • Be self-motivated to contribute to a geographically distributed team.

  • Programming Languages : C++, C and proficient in OOP design & development
  • GCN graphics architecture experience.
  • At least one recently shipped game on consoles or PC
  • Assembly language and low-level programming experience
  • Unreal and or Unity Experience
  • Experience with DirectX 12 or Vulkan graphics APIs.

    BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Electric / Computer Engineering with demonstrated experience in software development
