  • s strategic product development projects;Coordinate the business unit's strategic product development projects; - Supervise major plant trials and provide technical support in the development of new products;
  • Maximize synergies and integrations within Cascades' business units and other innovation initiatives;Exercise a technological watch on products, standards and processes;
  • Develop good relations with business partners and involvement in the packaging community;Support the development of innovation and new products to create added value for customers and follow up on PDPs;
  • Meet and make presentations to clients when necessary.Desired experience The Technical Director must have the following qualifications : Holds a Bachelor'
  • s degree in chemical engineering, chemistry, science or other relevant training;A minimum of 5 years experience in the manufacturing field;
  • Experience in chemistry, coating solutions;A good knowledge of the pulp and paper industry will be considered a strong asset;
  • Knowledge of the market (business opportunities, sales, competition) and of business and manufacturing processes;Basic knowledge of cost price;
  • Have innovative ideas and good communication skills;Demonstrate leadership and be organized;Be bilingual. Additional information Based in one of our two plants in Quebec, Berthierville or Kingsey Falls;
