Section Chief - Project Engineering & Integration, Specialized Aircraft-MON17000

In your role, you will :
Inspire others, engage your team and favor diversity in our workforce;
Work in close cooperation with the other technical, systems and structure disciplines, providing integration support for on-going BSA programs and Bids & Proposal (B&P);
Work closely with BFTC and Wichita based BSA groups;
Support weekly and monthly governance, including status of schedules and budgets;
Ensure customer and internal commitments are being met;
Champion Export Control regulations by ensuring adherence by all team members and support functions;
Support service requests dealing with missionized aircrafts;
Develop strong partnerships with Engineering and non-Engineering groups;
Support Customer meetings;
Responsible for managing the development needs and resources for your department;
Establish yearly departmental objectives and continuous improvement plans;
Establish critical skills, gap analysis and cross-training plan to optimize flexibility;
Be responsible for the Montreal and Toronto based ITAR zones;
Complete yearly budgetary exercise and quarterly forecasts to evaluate the department’s manpower;
Perform employee evaluations via PMP / PDP process, salary and progression reviews;
Support and coach the employees in all human resources management aspects;
Manage overall department, including budget, manpower, vacation, sick days and others task as required.
As our ideal candidate,
You hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering;
You have a minimum of 3 years of experience in supervision;
You have a minimum of 8 years of technical engineering or integration experience;
Be eligible for ITAR and CGP clearance;
You show very strong leadership skills, judgment, flexibility and the ability to influence others;
You are results oriented, able to meet aggressive deadlines, comfortable to work under pressure, and you have a sense of urgency;
You have a great deal of initiative and a passion to be part of a winning team, and you have strong team work and people skills;
You demonstrate good communication skills and you have a good level of French and English languages (oral and written);
