About the role

We are currently looking for a quality assurance analyst for our Operations and Planning team. Your role will be to accomplish various software testing and analysis tasks to improve systems, workflow and profitability.

The degree of complexity may vary throughout the project lifecycle. Depending on the scope of the projects, tests and analyses can cover multiple platforms so that the program logic can be thoroughly checked while ensuring the company’s requirements are met.

Your mission :

  • Analyze and translate organizational requirements, functional and technical specifications in terms of test requirements.
  • Produce test deliverables, test cases, test plans, test estimates, and any other deliverables required in your sector, in accordance with Intact standards, processes and procedures.
  • Detect, log, prioritize and monitor problems. Work closely with the members of the development team to resolve these problems.
  • Perform sufficient analyses to determine the root cause of defects.

  • Available to work evenings and weekends (when necessary) to update the different environments and support projects
  • Your skills :

  • DCS or ACS in a field related to computer science or any relevant combination of experience and training
  • Very good knowledge of P&C insurance (auto and residential)
  • Good communicator both orally and in writing (French and English)
  • Analytical mind and detail oriented
  • Good at setting and managing priorities and adjusting them to changes
  • Good knowledge of the Agile methodology (Asset)
  • Knowledge of automated tools (Selenium, Katalon, etc.) (Asset)
  • Knowledge of object-oriented programming languages (Asset)
