As a Senior Process Improvement Consultant, you will be part of an energetic and passionate team of consultants who facilitate cross functional process improvement initiatives.

Together, you will elevate the customer experience and enhance cost savings through the enactment of world-class process improvement methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma and Own.

it (Kaizen-like rapid improvement method). Additionally, the team will develop TELUS employees through the Lean Six Sigma and Own.

it training and certification programs. You will take on many roles such as project manager, change implementer, coach / mentor and process builder.

You will lead exciting complex improvement projects across various business units.

Here’s how

  • Results-Oriented Practitioner : Identify and prioritize process improvement projects, develop business cases; you will also provide project status updates, feedback and appropriate reporting on selected projects including :
  • Development of tactical implementation plansOwnership of executionResults achievement

  • Knowledge Leader : Actively lead and coach project teams in the application of Lean, Six Sigma, Own.it and other process improvement, process design, project and change management best practices
  • Change Agent : Collaborate with other Process Improvement Leaders to maximize change impact and conduct training on process improvement and change management methodology and tools as required;
  • you will facilitate cross-functional process improvement engagement, which will connect you to key business leaders and executives

    Qualifications

    You’re the missing piece of the puzzle

    Respected for your 5+ years of hands-on experience in a Leadership, Project Management or Business Analysis role

    Known for successfully leading a transformational activity within a Service Operations environment

    Passionate about assurance and fulfillment products, services and processes

    Confident with process mapping techniques and tools

    Valued for your business acumen, clear vision and direction of change management and solid influencing skills

    Talented at analytical problem solving techniques and quantitative analysis

    Regarded as a self-starter with an engaging leadership style who can quickly develop relationships across the organization

    Sought out for your ability to lead teams and offer mentorship

    Talented at grasping and effectively communicating complex ideas to your team to accomplish goals

    Known for your solid oral and written communication and presentation skills at all levels

    Thrive in a fast-paced and flexible work-life balanced environment

    Great-to-have

    PMP certification, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification, Own.IT / Kaizan certification with proven project successes are desirable

    Excellent project management skills and strong knowledge of project methodology is desirable
