As the on the business, you will be the main client contact on the brands assigned, providing our financial client with strategic integrated marketing solutions.
With a primary specialty in direct and data marketing, this role also requires you to manage an internal integrated communications team.
Ensure that the Agency’s work is a reflection of our integrated expertise and that input and contribution from the integrated team has been sought out
Ensure Client work is executed to the highest level of quality on time and on budget. Review all materials prior to Client review
Partner with creative leads to develop breakthrough work and ensure creative excellence and prepare Client for creative work.
Responsible for personally briefing integrated creative resources and overseeing creative development process with creative leads.
Gatekeeper for creative from all channels, ensuring it is on brand and on strategy
Provide council to team and Client on communication projects
Take an active role in the Clients business, anticipating Client needs and ensure sufficient resources in place to effectively manage those needs
Nourish and safeguard the Client relationship, maintaining contact and building rapport with various departments
Build Client’s confidence by knowing the objective and status of every Client related activity, even those that have been delegated.
Stay abreast of Client results. If objectives are not being met, find out why and initiate appropriate action.
Resolve internal team issues as they are identified and utilize the support of the leadership team as needed
Challenge the status quo for the best results for the agency and the client
Mentor junior staff to develop strong succession planning
It is an asset to have knowledge of the agricultural industry in particular Crop Protection. If not, must develop a strong understanding of the industry over time.
Based on knowledge of business and industry, bring forward and identify new initiatives and opportunities.
Assist with building a positive agency culture
Required Skills :
Minimum of 3-6 years’ experience in a client service role in an agency with a focus on mass, digital and social advertising
Passion for the business
Agriculture or Crop Protection category experience a strong desired
Solid understanding of the creative and production process
Strong client service orientation and attention to detail
Ability to write and communicate effectively
Project management skills, demonstrated ability to multi-task and set priorities
Continually drive for results and highest quality standards
Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills
Superior organizational and time management skills with a strong attention to detail
Category experience a strong asset
Ability to design and deliver presentations
Proficient in MS office
Post-secondary education in marketing / advertising an asset
