Job Requirements :

In order to be considered for this position, your application must clearly demonstrate how you meet the education and experience as outlined below :

  • University degree or diploma in a field related to natural resource management, business / public administration or acceptable equivalent.
  • Experience in operational management of natural resources.
  • Experience managing financial, human and contracted resources effectively and economically in accordance with Ministry or industry requirements
  • Experience supervising multiple business lines and individual staff assigning work and developing and evaluating performance plans
  • Experience in First Nations relationship building and negotiations
  • Experience developing and maintaining working relationships and resolving problems with stakeholders in natural resource management or infrastructure development.
  • Preference may be given to candidates with formal education or experience in human resources.
  • Must be willing to travel, extensively at times
