To support our growth, we are looking for a Total Rewards Director
Reporting to the Human Resources Vice-President, the incumbent of the position is responsible for the development and implementation of compensation and benefits programs for the business unit (Canada and US), as well as the management of the Canada payroll (9 sites) in accordance with the Corporation's strategic directions and business challenges.
The main missions will be :
Management and optimization of annual compensation-related processes (Long-term incentive awards, bonus program, annual salary review);
Development of managers' skills on compensation principles and best practices;
In conjunction with the international mobility team, review the salary proposals of mobility candidates;
Implement the program to overhaul the global compensation package started in mid 2020;
Improve the perception of the global offer by working on transparency, education and program branding;
Support the BCorp certification team (Living wage).
Social Benefits :
Participate in the annual renewal of Canada and US benefits;
Finalize the implementation of the flexible benefits program in Canada;
Redesign and deployment of the wellness program;
Change of EAP Program Provider.
Sitting on Canadian and US pension committees;
Evaluate and ensure the competitiveness of our pension plan offering in Canada and the U.S.
Payroll Service Canada :
Management of the team (1 Payroll Manager, 1 Payroll Specialist and 2 Payroll Technicians) in charge of Canadian payroll processing and compliance, as well as the improvement of payroll processes.
Mater’s level university education in human resources or a related field;
Minimum of 10 years experience in compensation and benefits management in a multinational company, good knowledge of Canadian and American group insurance plans, as well as defined contribution and 401K pension plans;
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, in French and English;
Developed change management skills; Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a context of change;
Ability to influence, to understand strategic issues and global vision; Strong capacity for synthesis and analysis, diagnosis and problem solving;
Focused on teamwork and service to partners and clients.
