  • About the role

    We are looking for a Finance Advisor for our new Logistics organisation, based in Montreal.

    This role is a great opportunity to work with multiple stakeholders to provide advice to the business and support the development and execution of strategic decision making.

    Reporting to : Finance Business Partner - Logistics

  • Understand and develop business strategy
  • Understands the business position in the market

    Competitor analysis, SWOT

    Understand and champion the key value levers for the business

  • Drive performance value and manages risk
  • Focus on top line, bottom line, and cash performance

    Hold the business to account, monitor progress against plan and challenge variances

  • Provides commercial and financial insight
  • Produce financial analysis and insight that give the business a transparent understanding of performance

    Use this insight to identify opportunities and risks, and makes recommendations

    Benchmark performance to competition

    Contributes to Due Diligence into major investments and support significant contract or commercial negotiations

  • Protects the financial health of the business
  • Identify and manages risk and ensures robust financial controls

  • Drives change and transformation
  • Contribute to process improvements and change initiatives

    Identify efficiency gains, propose / implement performance improvements

  • Develops finance capability within the business
  • Work with Group to ensure fit for purpose systems, processes, KPIs, reporting etc

    About you

    To be successfully considered for this role, you will have :

  • Bachelor and / or professional qualification e.g. MBA, ACA, CPA
  • 5 years + significant finance and commercial experience within a global organisation
  • Experience effectively managing a wide range of internal and external stakeholders
  • Analytical, strategic and forward thinking competencies
  • Experience working on complex M&A, JV and Partnerships
  • Continuous improvement, value creation with evidence of identifying and mitigating risks
  • Experience of driving large change projects or programmes
  • Strong background of influencing and working with diverse teams in matrix model
  • Capacity to work autonomously
