We are currently seeking a Summer Sales Representative for a 16-week assignment in the Bathurst area to assist in building customer and consumer loyalty.
The successful candidate will have a drive for sales, positive attitude, strong business acumen and overall knowledge of our products and business.
ResponsibilitiesAssist in the execution of promotions / programs; on premise (e.g. pubs), at retail (e.g. liquor stores) and key district events / local sponsorship (e.
g. festivals), as assigned with prescribed guidelines.Taking ownership of setting up appropriate signage, POS material, and merchandise at the account / event in advance and other related support.
Provide timely communication and follow-up reporting to the appropriate Territory Manager pre and post promotions to ensure excellence.
Identify and resolve problems efficiently and in line with established guidelines and parameters.Help build customer and consumer loyalty within assigned region.
Actively build and maintain professional and strong business relationships with licensees and retail store staff, as well as other members of the community.
Assist with or take the lead in the management of warehouse inventory and allocations of materials (e.g. promotional materials) to and from the Territory Managers storage.
Provide both written and verbal communication / feedback to Territory Managers on licensee, competitive & industry activities, securing new business, tasting reports, etc.
Ensure that company vehicles, equipment, property, corporate logos are used and maintained in a professional manner, including any record taking.
Other projects as assigned and approved by Territory Manager.The Summer Sales Representative is expected to understand and comply with the Liquor Control Act regulations in the execution of their role.
QualificationsAbility and willingness to a work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.Legal drinking age.A valid driver's license and willingness to provide a clean drivers' abstract.
Involvement in extra-curricular activities, especially on campus.Work experience that reflects sales, promotion and / or customer service, and product knowledge.
Resident of assigned territory.Self motivated, projects a positive and professional corporate image, demonstrates strong problem solving, organizational, interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills.
