What you’ll do

  • Provide end-to-end support for the enterprise with data collection and disclosure
  • Provide advice, guidance and make recommendations to teams regarding new data asset collections and disclosures to optimize project outcomes, facilitate initial set-up and provide ongoing operational support
  • Develop, improve and use existing processes to ensure timely delivery of all data collections, distribution, and transfers
  • Support operationalization of new processes and recommend process adjustments as needed
  • Identify gaps with data access provisioning and seek appropriate resources to help implement solutions
  • Manage access to Data Holdings as per enterprise's governance policies.
  • Manage relationship with teams and responds to requests / inquiries from teams
  • Coordinate with Manager to execute pertinent data analysis in support of strategic business needs and decision-making process
  • Manage standard / adhoc reporting, daily requests for new data creation, raise questions or concerns with the business units, log issues with the data provider, confirm issue resolution
  • Manage production support tickets for business-critical issues
  • Monitor, prioritize and action ticket queue to ensure requests are resolved in timely and efficient manner
  • Actively work with cross functional business units to ensure data standards are followed
  • Provide data management support to business units for new and ongoing projects
  • Perform data quality scans on various related data sets
  • Provide recommendations for improving maintenance processes

    What you bring

  • Sound knowledge of data management and design
  • Experience with the Data Asset development life cycle
  • Passion for data, technology, and implementing technology for process improvement
  • Flexibility, energy and ability to work well with others in a team environment
  • Intermediate to expert level understanding of SQL
  • Intermediate to expert level knowledge in data environments; both current and legacy
  • Proficient in Excel and / or Power BI visualisation tool
  • Familiar with Python and / or R
  • Experience in Retail Industry an asset in any of the following areas : marketing or sales support, operations, finance
