About the Role : ReportingStructure


The Billing Analyst reports directly to the Assistant Controller.

  • Key Performance Indicators / Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage the company billing system for proper account set-up and activity flow.
  • Ensure all invoices are billed and processed in a timely manner in accordance with contract terms.
  • Communicate with other divisions to ensure the accuracy of the project billings throughout project schedule.
  • Support the set-up and close out of projects with the Sales & Planning teams.
  • Research and resolve billing discrepancies.
  • Monitor accounts for irregularities and recommend solutions to the Assistant Controller.
  • Monitor and support billing adjustment requirements.
  • Prepare invoices and adjustments and ensure they are approved in a timely manner.
  • Generate reports on project progress as required.
  • Perform analysis on budgeted revenue vs. actual revenue, verify accuracy.
  • Attend production, post-mortem, and customer meetings as necessary, to ensure proper sharing of project status and updates to the production team.
  • Ensure that the billing processes are followed and align with Avmax's Policy Manuals.
  • Identify opportunities to continuously improve processes, make recommendations and implement changes.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Assistant Controller.

  • Minimum 3 years of experience required.
  • NAV experience considered an asset
