Customer Activation Leader
This role is responsible for achieving profitable sales growth for a core customer and delivering best in class category leadership which contributes consistently to the units NSV.
The role is accountable for maximizing customer and category performance whilst delivering efficient trade revenue optimization.
The role is accountable for developing category growth insights and solutions, executing Mars Wrigley perfect store solutions to promote profitable growth at the portfolio and category level.
The role engages and partners with multiple internal teams to drive appropriate cross-functional collaboration to meet customers, shoppers and Mars needs to ensure we are well placed to drive customer engagement through development of customer growth plans grounded into localized category vision.
What are we looking for?
Academic Graduate caliber, with 5-7+ years plus experience in a blue chip FMCG / consumer products with a strong customer / category background.
Sales experience that includes selling, negotiating and leveraging insights to deliver tailored customer plans, achieving company and customer objectives and advancing category leadership.
High analytical acumen with ability to drive and translate insights into relevant strategies and tactics (actions / initiatives) internally and for execution with our customers.
Significant category leadership and customer development experience, with proven ability to build strong and objective customer category partnerships.
What would be your key responsibilities?
Lead the development and execution of the customers short and long term strategies which optimizes profitability and sales revenue and achieves company, category and customer objectives.
Manage new product launches with timely and effective execution to maximise customer impact in the marketplace.
Use a mix of market, shopper and customer insights to identify customer growth opportunities and leverages / executes these with high standards in all Category Leadership initiatives, tactics, practices and engages cross-functional resources to deliver the growth opportunities.
Drive the customer agenda and develops strong and influential relationships with key customers focused on delivering shopper, channel and category centric solutions which accelerate customer engagement.
