DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES :
Work with Regional Marketing / Channel primes within each Tier 1 or Tier 2 carrier (Director level & below) to develop / execute programs within specific Carrier & Retailer banners to drive additional device sales.
Maintain a high level CRM profile through planning and relationship development with key Carrier regional personnel (including Directors, DBMs, RSMs, AMs, etc), significant dealers and key store managers.
Create a strategic plan for each key channel on how the Huawei brand / devices will be showcased in their region.
Work closely with Huawei Sales Directors, Retail & Marketing team to ensure flawless execution of programs, effective communication between internal and external stakeholders, and raise brand awareness among channel partners (carriers & third party support).
Work closely with Huawei Marketing, Retail & Sales Directors to measure the success of channel initiatives and overall sales performance for the Region
Create an ongoing competitive profile within the designated Region and develop & execute a tactical guerilla styple plan to give Huawei an advantageous sales opportunity with each Carrier.
Serve as the main point of contact for any channel partners regarding Huawei issues & opportunities in the Region.
Attend & participate in designated Huawei events & trade shows including Carrier channel activities.
Manage the day to day activities of geographical region.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience required :
This role is based in Quebec, Canada; must be bilingual in English and Quebec French
At least five (5) years of sales, channel or device management experience in the telecommunications or retail industry
Excellent communication & presentation skills
Superior business acumen & proven consultative skill set
Strong team player with the ability to manage within the confines of a corporate process / procedures
Define self-starter & problem solver
Proven leadership skills
PHYSICAL DEMANDS :
Must be able to lift / carry promotional materials and samples, move about the office and operate a computer in a normal manner.
In addition, must have access to their own vehicle to travel locally to channels / Carriers and meet partners. Also,must be able to travel by air when required.
WORKING CONDITIONS (relates to physical environment) :
Standard indoor office environment. Must be able to travel 25 50% of the time
