    CBI Health Fraser Valley is a fast paced, high performance team that produces outstanding outcomes for patients and stakeholders.

    Our focus is providing the gold standard in patient centered care with the objective of improved function and return to work for individuals with concussion, mild to severe brain injury or other neurological injury.

    As part of the interdisciplinary team of professionals in rehabilitation, the Occupational Therapist will participate in assessment and treatment for individuals with brain injury or cognitive dysfunction secondary to another medical condition.

    This full time position is well suited to a self-starter with a proven ability to deliver excellence in client outcomes and quality of life for patients.

    This is a full time permanent role with travel required in the Fraser Valley area.

    Take an inside look at what you’ll do each day

  • Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver excellent client outcomes
  • Provide impartial home, job, and safety / attendant care assessments, functional ability evaluations, insurer examinations, ergonomic assessments, client education, and job coaching, as required
  • Coordinate the return to work process with all stakeholders in a timely way, ensuring a smooth transition into the workplace
  • Work closely with the team and other resources to develop new programs to meet identified client needs
  • Network with internal and external stakeholders to promote new and existing programs
  • Perform regular, timely charting, reporting and communication
  • Record workload measurement data
  • Attend staff meetings and case conference meetings, as required
  • Provide professional services to other CBI facilities or departments, as required
  • Here’s what you’ll need to be successful

  • You are a graduate of a recognized School of Occupational Therapy
  • You are a registered member in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists in BC
  • Have experience in the private sector
  • Hold a valid driver's license and have access to a vehicle
  • You are passionate about your profession and committed to ongoing professional development
