Your opportunity

We are looking for a System Analyst, HR Operations to join our HR Operations team which can be based out of any of our locations across Canada and own the following responsibilities :

  • Act as HR Workday SME. Provide day-to-day support and maintenance of the functional and technical aspects of Workday to support all HCM areas including Core HCM, Advanced Compensation, Learning, Talent, Time off and Leave, Recruitment, etc.
  • Participate in the ongoing design, configuration and implementations for Workday HCM modules.
  • Provide end-user support with troubleshooting, and issue remediation. Research problems. Identify opportunities and seek opinions and feedback on suggested solutions, with escalation management to the Workday Second Level Support team as required.
  • Perform testing of any release of new functionality or changes to configuration.
  • Participate in analyzing, testing, and adopting functionality from semi-annual Workday releases.
  • Research and keep up to date on new Workday functionality to make recommendations for adoption.
  • Identify and recommend areas to simplify and improve Workday set up.
  • Assist in developing Workday implementation and road map recommendations.
  • Partner with Workday Second Level Support Team on HR systems change requests, improvements or special projects.
  • Analyze data flows for process improvement and efficiency.
  • Translate business requirements into technical requirements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to advance Workday adoption and ease of use.
  • Regularly perform data audits and validation, and partner with appropriate teams for corrections
  • Perform regular follow up on outstanding Workday tasks.
  • Maintain Workday HR related announcements
  • Create and maintain job aid / user guides
  • Develop and provide training to HR team members on Workday functionality.
  • Provide training to key stakeholders and end-users on new functionality and updates on existing processes occurring throughout the year.
  • Manage HR data uploads to Workday requiring EIB’s.
  • Maintain HR MYBDO content.
  • Maintain HR SharePoint by regularly reviewing to ensure content is up to date and well organized.
  • Maintain HR Assist Me Hub (i.e. HR forms, knowledge base)

  • You have an understanding of HR operations and experience in employee data management
  • You have the ability to accurately collect information in order to understand and assess the end user needs and situation
  • If you have experience with Workday, it will be considered a strong asset
  • If you have knowledge and experience with ServiceNow and SharePoint, it will be considered a strong asset
  • You have the ability to prioritize workload and provide timely follow-up and resolution
  • You have the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects
  • You have strong solution orientation and problem-solving skills
  • You are proactive and have responsive customer service skills
  • You have the ability to utilize common business software applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • You have strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with internal clients
