We provide our restaurant-partners with an on-demand fleet of bicycle couriers, making it simple for customers around the world to access delicious meals.

We are currently fully operational in Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Quebec City and Ottawa!!!

About the role :

foodora is one of Toronto’s fastest growing tech startups, and the Operations Team is the glue that holds our business together.

As a Bilingual Operations Associate - Logistics on our Logistics team, you will play a key role managing and coordinating our courier fleet between restaurants and customers.

This isn’t your average Logistics role - it’s a fast-paced job that requires you to think on your feet and communicate on the fly with our couriers and restaurants in a time-

sensitive situation - so it definitely helps if you’re tech savvy. The right person for the job will have solid organizational skills and a sense of urgency in order to move product from one place to another as fast as possible.

What will you be doing?

  • Actively monitoring our dispatching system to troubleshoot problems scenarios and resolving issues
  • Provide real-time support to our courier fleet across the country
  • Work seamlessly with our customer service team and restaurant partners to ensure we’re providing the best service to our customers
  • Actively finding and implementing process improvement throughout the team
  • Additional tasks / projects as they arise
  • What are we looking for?

  • Either possess a University Degree / College Diploma or are currently enrolled in a post-secondary institution. We’re a very diverse team with backgrounds in Computer Science, English Literature, Philosophy, Economics, etc.
  • English and French written and oral proficiency is an absolute must .
  • Must be able to work 5PM and after on Friday, Saturday and Sunday
  • Previous experience in any of the following : customer service, QA, hospitality, technology, and retail. Not necessary but would be a great bonus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite / Google Apps. You’re going to have to be comfortable with spreadsheets!
  • Combination of analytical, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Have a flexible schedule to work evenings and weekends. Big bonus is you can work late night (1am)
