Contributes to the overall success of the Strategic Initiatives & Operations, Global Risk Management by ensuring specific individual goals, plans, initiatives are executed / delivered in support of the team’s business strategies and objectives.
Ensures all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.
Provides calendar management and executive admin support to the VPs in Strategic Initiatives & Operations (SI&O), Global Risk Management.
Provide high level administrative support for one or more executives, requiring discretion, confidentiality, a good understanding of technical and business vocabulary, and a detailed knowledge of the organization'
s operations, procedures, and people.
Prepare, gather, compile, verify, and analyze information for the executive's use in documents such as presentation decks, reports, documents.
Perform tasks using independent judgment and discretion; e.g preparing documents and presentation materials; screening and responding to incoming correspondence, inquiries, and phone calls;
drafting communications for department : arranging and attending meetings; taking and distributing minutes.
Monitor, review, and submit standard expenditures to ensure the activities of the office are conducted within established budgets.
Manage the variance analysis and ensure it aligns on a monthly basis. Act as the primarily liaison and coordinator for department initiatives.
Lead the onboarding of talent into the Strategic Initiatives & Operations function and prepares all necessary documents to ensure onboarding effectiveness.
Identifies operational effectiveness in ongoing tasks to optimize how we work.
Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge.
Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
Monitor, review and approve standard expenditures within established budgets.
Interactions with senior levels of management.
Deals with information that is of a sensitive and confidential nature
Highly capable to manage competing demands and takes
Education / Experience / Other Information
Sound knowledge of business / bank terminology and departmental procedures
High level of discretion required when dealing with confidential matters
MS Office expertise
Strong verbal and written communication skills
