Rogers Digital Media is seeking a Digital Sales Manager to manage national digital sales against all RDM digital products.

Reporting to the Director, Digital & Emerging Media Sales this individual will be at the forefront of generating digital advertising revenue from our key agency partners, growth in our people, and driving excellence in client service.

Responsibilities :

  • Manage and optimize digital sales activity of a team of 3 account executives against key agency partner(s)
  • Be a strong coach and mentor for their team. An honest and direct leader who inspires trust, develops our people, and leads with integrity and confidence.
  • Work closely with managers across all Rogers Media platforms to drive collaboration in sales and build revenue within the full Rogers Media portfolio.
  • Collaborate with all internal teams on sales product, process and execution to achieve excellence in client service.
  • Build management level relationships within assigned agency(s) to drive strong partnerships and maximize revenue across the territory.
  • Organize, provide input, and attend agency Quarterly Business Reviews
  • Participate in building and negotiating annual agency partnerships
  • Act as an ambassador in the Rogers Media landscape, attending agency meetings and industry & trade events.
  • Monitor, track and report on digital sales and activity against monthly / quarterly targets, including revenue forecasting, and champion use of CRM.
  • In-depth knowledge of business planning and territory management - proactively identifying and actioning against risks and opportunities.
  • Liaise with internal team members and departments
  • Generate business plans to define strategies and tactics.
  • Thought leadership immerse yourself in the digital media landscape, adapt with speed and agility to Rogers Digital Media'
  • s ongoing product developments and maintain a high level of training and knowledge globally on products, industry trends and best practices

    Requirements :

  • Demonstrated success in achieving / exceeding sales quotas and growing share of spend from accounts
  • Post-secondary education, preferably in media, interactive or business-related discipline
  • Ability to communicate, present and influence effectively at all levels of an organization.
  • 5-7 years digital media sales experience.
  • Strong coaching and leadership skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast paced environment
  • Must have strong listening, questioning, negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma, preferably in Marketing or Business
  • Strong computer skills including technical competence with MS Office.
  • Knowledge of comScore, OMS, Omniture Analytics, and Salesforce
  • Shift : Day
