Our Canadian operation, Canaccord Genuity Corp., is currently looking for an energetic, motivated, dynamic and ambitious team player to join our Wealth Management team in Vancouver on a temporary basis for Maternity Leave coverage for approximately 15 months. Responsibilities :

  • Perform required job duties in a fast-paced environment with high demands of quality, accuracy and professionalism;
  • Assist Investment Advisor with a range of administrative support;
  • Answer phones, client inquiries and email client information;
  • Open and maintain client files and accounts, shared file documents and website;
  • Manage transfers;
  • Process and follow-up on client documentation for proper maintenance of accounts;
  • Assist with servicing existing clients;
  • Perform additional administrative duties and assist with projects and initiatives as required.
  • Skills & Qualifications :

  • An undergraduate degree or higher level of education; completion of CSC and CPH an asset
  • Minimum 1-2 years of related experience, with a well-rounded knowledge of the securities industry;
  • Excellent organizational skills, with a strong attention to detail;
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and multi-task;
  • Ability to work independently, and effectively with employees and clients at all levels;
  • Ability to work in a highly demanding environment;
  • Strong proficiency with technology, with excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook);
  • Knowledge of Dataphile an asset.
