Your mission as Media Buyer and Planner : Reporting to the Media Manager, the Buyer and Planner is specialised in all traditional media activities (including TV, outdoor, and radio) and effectively collaborates with internal digital experts in developing integrated 360-

degree campaigns and support the growth of LASIK MD and its affiliate brands.

Responsibilities

  • Working with the manager to understand target markets, media strategies, and budgets in order to develop media plans and buys for various brands, segments and customer journeys
  • Managing, negotiating and executing media buys for all traditional media channels including programmatic and streaming media (radio, digital out-of-home, and more)
  • Collaborating with internal digital experts in SEM, social, and display to develop integrated 360-degree campaigns.
  • Using industry standard media tools and resources, conducting research / analysis to effectively evaluate media and sponsorships
  • Ensuring impeccable tracking and management of a large media budget
  • Accountable for execution and quality control of various projects or campaigns under your area of expertise
  • Required skills

  • Bilingual, at ease in both English and French (oral and written)
  • Solid experience in direct-to-consumer marketing
  • Proficiency with media software and media analytic platforms and sources (Nlogic, Numeris, Vividata, COMMB and more)
  • Excellent media knowledge and skills with demonstrated experience
  • Superior negotiation, communication and execution skills
  • Team player that embraces change and brings innovation
  • Programmatic media, U.S. media and digital media experience is considered an asset
  • Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, e-commerce or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in media buying and planning
  • Position details

    This is a full time, temporary mandate for approximately 14 months. A competitive compensation is offered for this position.

    Candidates must be available to work from Monday to Friday at our head office in downtown Montreal.
