Responsibilities

  • Provides document production services to a department or office from Dictaphone transcription or hand-written notes using numerous software applications.
  • Editing, scanning or converting a variety of documents, including letters, memos, legal documents, presentations and spreadsheets from dictation, hard copy or handwritten notes using numerous software applications.
  • Acts as a resource person regarding questions about standards of document preparation
  • Faxing, filing and photocopying as required.
  • Communicate with staff and legal administrative assistants to clarify directions and requests
  • Flexibility to change shifts as required
  • Experience you bring

  • 3+ years relevant experience
  • Administrative Assistant or Legal Assistant Diploma or Certificate
  • Ability to communicate effectively with other Firm members, with strong aptitude to take care of clients needs in a professional and courteous manner
  • Experience in the professional services industry
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe and design software
