With ambitious plans to grow we’re busy recruiting and looking to welcome an additional talent acquisition specialist to our team, to support the continued growth of the Mott MacDonald team in the northeast US.

You’ll have the responsibility to recruit across a range of disciplines to fill immediate requirements and pipeline for future ones, and we think it’s a great opportunity to learn, see your ideas come to life and really add value in a fast-paced environment.

We use a global recruitment system that tracks applications and you’ll get lots of training on how to use it. Things you’ll be doing include advertising vacancies to agreed job boards, screening applications, proactively sourcing quality candidates, developing your own social media campaigns, setting up interviews and seeking approvals.

It shouldn’t come as a surprise that you'll spend a lot of time talking to people. We work as one talent acquisition team supporting the North America business.

You’ll need to utilize a proactive approach to candidate sourcing and will be empowered to utilize the freshest techniques and encouraged to explore and trial new ideas.

You will be the main point of contact for people who’re applying and it is essential that everyone receives a first-class experience.

Candidate Specification

To join our team, you’ll need some recruitment experience, having recruited in either an agency or internal environment.

  • You need to be confident, proactive, and creative. We work as a close team and everyone has a voice so it’s important to us that you’re someone who has a genuine interest in recruitment;
  • taking pride in everything you do. It’s also a role for someone who wants to develop and progress in a talent acquisition roles and having a curiosity to learn.

    We’re looking for someone who has :

  • 1+ years of experience as a recruitment consultant / advisor / talent acquisition assistant preferred. An applied interest in talent acquisition demonstrable through education, internships or other means will also be considered.
  • understanding of direct candidate attraction techniques (LinkedIn Recruiter / Boolean) is preferred.
  • high attention to detail and a personable and professional approach.
  • ability to deliver excellent candidate experience in a candidate led market.
  • exceptional communication (oral and written) skills.
  • ability to work proactively and manage own workload.
  • ability to travel infrequently across North America, as necessary.
  • a passion for a career in talent acquisition and desire to thrive in a fast-paced environment!
