Job description

Prodigy Personnel is currently looking for a Human Resources Coordinator for our client in the Milton area.

Our client is a leader in the Transportation and Logistics Industry.


  • Perform full-cycle of the recruitment activities, including hiring requests, job postings, resume management, screening, interviewing, reference checks and preparing employment agreements;
  • Conduct new employee orientation sessions and assist with the development of future enhancements to the program;Responsible for employee communication as it relates to new hires announcements, organizational changes, benefits and wellness items;
  • Assist and support the employee survey process;Assist with training and development both on researching external programs and supporting professional development;
  • Perform administrative HR work including maintaining HR shared files, employee files and working with the payroll team;Maintain, and help refine human resource related policies and proceduresSupport and administer benefits and compensation programs;
  • Develop, maintain and update performance management document, and keep them on file;Coordinate and work with other team members for company events;
  • Support workplace Health & Safety (OHSA)

    5 years HR Generalist experienceCompleted the post-secondary degree in Human Resources or related programsExperience with Occupational Health & Safety Act, WHMIS, and Employment Standards ActHR designation or in process is an assetKnowledge and experience in the Logistics industry, a major asset
