PTAG has been engaged by one of its client to support and deliver Project Control Services across their Capital Projects Program.
We are looking for driven, service oriented Project Controls Professionals with experience in the Heavy Industrial Projects Sector to join our team.
As a representation of PTAG's Project Services, we seek professionals who adapt well to new client environments, remain current of Industry Best Practices, and have well-
rounded experience in project controls around; Cost Control, Change Management, Planning and Scheduling, and Progress Measurement.

Type of Employment : Contract
Project Controls professionals will provide a framework which identifies the Requirements for all activities within : Schedule Control Cost / Change Control Progress Measurement Progress Reporting
Schedule Control : To establish a consistent, uniform approach to planning and scheduling Monitor and analyze variance Inform management of changes to critical path or risk of milestone
Cost Control / Change Control Minimize project costs by ensuring final costs are within approved
Budget (or lower) Prepare consistent, accurate and reliable forecasts Timely identification of trends and changes Inform management of budget, cost and performance Create a cost awareness atmosphere
Progress Measurement Establish a baseline budget and schedule against which performance can be measured, evaluated and reported
Progress Reporting allow stakeholders to make key informed decisions for the successful execution of projects by collecting, analyzing, forecasting data in a high quality, consistent and timely manner.
Status Reports Progress / Schedule Report Trends / Change Management Monthly Report
Other duties as assigned Written and verbal management reporting and attendance at customer interface meetings as required
Mentoring of junior Project Controls staff
Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, project management, or related technical field would be an asset
Minimum of 11-20 years of progressive experience with increasing responsibility in the Management of Project Controls on Nuclear Projects
Knowledge and understanding of ANSI EIA 748-C guidelines is an asset.
Active membership or accreditation in AACE, PMI, or similar association is a plus
Reviewing and approving manpower requirements and exercising management direction with respect to selection, appraisal, and training of staff
Leading and / or providing expert level technical knowledge and guidance in the design and delivery of highly complex technical issues
Expert knowledge / understanding of overall project / business processes
